- The Children's Literature Web
Guide
- http://www.acs.ucalgary.ca/~dkbrown/
- David K. Brown of the University of Calgary has done
a fine job pulling together this hotlist site. The care
that he's put into the interface, commentary, and
comprehensiveness make this a very useful starting point
for those looking for more information about best books
lists, authors' web sites, and reviews of what's on the
Internet related to children's literature.
-
- Carol Hurst's Children's
Literature Site
- http://www.carolhurst.com/
- Teachers and librarians will appreciate this rich
collection of reviews, curriculum ideas, and activities.
Reviews are organized by title, author, type of book, and
grade level, and educators can also look for ideas based
on curriculum areas or themes. There's plenty here to
help educators integrate literature into their
curriculum.

mad. This original web site encourages kids to read and
write with The Little Planet Times, a newspaper created
