Overview

In order to assess the technology skills of the teaching staff and determine how teachers utilized technology at the beginnng of, during and at the end of the project several instruments were designed.

The instruments used in this project are described below and can be viewed by clicking on the individual titles. It should be noted that these instruments were created specifically for this school site. They were designed based on the technology software, hardware, and network capabilities available at the school site. The site-based design of these tools allowed the school Technology Committee to respond directly to the specific requirments and needs of the school site. If you would like copies of any of the forms, please send requests to kcadiero@mail.gcccd.cc.ca.us

This survey was given to the teachers and student teachers the first week of the school year. When teachers responded to this survey they did not have computers in their classrooms and had only one day of technology training. This survey served as a baseline to determine the overall computer expertise of the staff.
