Study at the Undergraduate Level

The Division of Undergraduate Studies offers the Liberal Studies major and the Liberal Studies Blended Teacher Education major, both designed primarily for students planning to become elementary grade teachers. Visit the Liberal Studies website for more information.

The Interwork Institute offers the Bachelor of Vocational Education (BVE) degree program for instructors teaching in vocational education programs at the secondary or postsecondary level.

Minor In Counseling and Social Change, introduces students to skills and concepts used to understand and create such change, and to professional career paths such a school and community counseling, clinical psychology, social work, family therapy, and school psychology.  It provides immersion in theory and experience-based practice.

The Child Development Minor is an important adjunct for students in such areas as education, psychology, recreation, social work, and sociology. Students who select this minor can benefit from a broad understanding of life as a developmental process.

A minor in Educational Technology can greatly expand your career options and earning power when you graduate. Hone your skills in cutting-edge media technology; reach audiences with blogs, wikis, and other types of shared workspaces. Plan and develop websites, animated presentations, and instructional or informational videos; cultivate communities using popular social networking tools.
