Kitty Gabriel is a technology consultant for elementary and middle schools in
San Diego County and an instructional designer for Southwestern College. As a
media specialist and technology consultant, Ms. Gabriel provides direction and
support for the development and implementation of cross-curriculum,
collaborative multimedia. Deliverables focus on educational resources and
technology tools that enhance primary and middle school curriculum beyond the
traditional classroom via Internet resources, CD-ROM integration, and
intensified learning experiences that encourage student research and
presentation methods. Ms. Gabriel also consults with schools to asses, define,
plan and design technology use plans matched with school district goals and the
unique characteristics of the individual school site. As an instructional
designer, Kitty has designed courses for dissemination through Economic
Development Network of the California Community Colleges, Southwestern College,
and Small Business Development Communities. Course designs demonstrate
technology transfer in training delivery, instructional techniques,
facilitation and presentation skills.
