Real-World Example of PT

A real-world example of PT might describe implementation of TQM or planning for a benefits change or ADA legislation impact on the Human Resources Department. For instance, for ADA (American Disabilities Act) you need to align the systems and consider the impact on a wide range of organizational policies including workman's compensation, family leave, human resources, and facilities management. A broad base for awareness in areas of management training, staff selection, job descriptions, performance management, and recruitment. PT would address how ADA affects the areas of access to equipment modification as well as motives and motivational issues. Attitude awareness would integrate more training processes to broaden overall information on diversity and quality of life. The goals are to disseminate information and develop communication plans.
