This iMovie was made for Mr. Corduan's students at Turtleback
Elementary School in an attempt to make real world connections with
the content of the classroom. Many writing, drawing, and other literacy
activities accompanied the science lessons taught in this 2-3 multi-age
setting. In a culmination of learning about structures (especially
bridges) and the people who design and construct them, students designed
their own bridges using frozen peas and toothpicks. Dr. Yerrick and
the principal, Ms. Kimberly Wrens, assisted Mr. Corduan's students in making
their first iMovie as well. Students were very excited to not only
film their creations but to add special effects to the production as well.
