The MA in Elementary Curriculum and Instruction is designed to increase professional competence in the form of more breadth, depth, and technical skill in curriculum and instruction, either generally or in selected areas of specialization.

Selection 2- Choose one of the following courses 3 units

Teacher Ed 626, Advanced Educational Psychology

Teacher Ed 655, Sociocultural Foundations of American

Education

Teacher Ed 656, Struggle for the American Curriculum

Teacher Ed 657, Philosophy of Education

Selection 3- Choose one of the following courses 3 units

Teacher Ed 610A, Seminar in Mathematics Ed

Teacher Ed 610C, Seminar in Science in Elem Ed

Teacher Ed 630, Seminar in Reading Education

Teacher Ed 631, Seminar in Language Arts

Selection 4- 3-6 units

Teacher Ed 500/600/700 numbered courses
