No paying job. Working on student teaching at O'Farrel.
Background
I was born in El Salvador and lived there for ten years. I moved to Los Angeles in 1981 and then moved to San Diego in 1991. I attended Grossmont College and then transfered to SDSU a couple of years later. I graduated from SDSU in 1995 with a degree in mathematics. While attending SDSU, I worked on campus in the Ombudsmen's Office. This office is the liason between the students and the University. I worked there for three years and resigned to allow more time for my student teaching program at O'Farrel.
Interests, Activities & Plans
I am about to start my student teacher program at O'Farrel. I am really excited to be part of this block because of it's uniqueness. I am looking forward to all the new things I will be learning and experiencing during the next year.
After finishing the credential program I hope to work in a middle school, here in San Diego. My future plans include returning to school to pursue a special education and bilingual credential .
Other Interesting Things
I do not have much time for hobbies. My time is taken up by school and my 4 year old son.
