Aquatic instructor/lifeguard & Recreation Leader

Background

I was born in Los Angeles but moved to San Diego when I was four years old. I grew up in the Southbay, near Chula Vista. I am the youngest of seven children and my parents came from Mexico. I enjoy sports and have worked for the City of San Diego's Park and Recreation Department as both a Recreation Leader and a lifeguard/aquatic instructor for 7 years.

Iinterests, Activities & Plans

My present professional interests are to complete my single subject credential and work as a teacher in a high school. I plan to go back to school and get a master's degree either in Educational Counseling or Anthropology. I enjoy the water a lot and would like to become SCUBA certified and learn deep sea diving.

Other Interesting Things

I love music and play the guitar. I would eventually like to be in a band good enough to support myself economically and even record some music. I also like to sing and dance.
