- B.S. Physical Education, San Diego State University
Background
Born in Brooklyn New York but raised in San Mateo California. Started my college degree in brodcasting but changed it to physical education when I finally got to SDSU. I've decided that because I am a physically challenged person that I could better serve the community and future by working with the disabled, so my emphasis in Physical Education is teaching and Adapted Physical Education. I worked for over a year in a physical therapy rehab. lab in San Mateo and for the last year have been employed at SDSU's Fitness Clinic For The Physically Challanged. I also work privately as a physical trainer of disabled people. I have also enjoyed coaching football at La Jolla High two seasons ago.
Interests, Activities & Plans
I really want to work with childern as both a teacher of Physical Education (normal), Adapted Physical Education, and Coaching various sports (most perferably football). My future plans are to obtain my credential start teaching, and continue my schooling in Sports Pyschology. In which, I eventually hope to get a Ph.d, and look forward to doing some of my schooling and teaching out of this country.
Other Interesting Things
My hobbies include all sports, of which I am most competitive in are: Bowling, Table Tennis, and Paint ball. I enjoy weight lifting and swimming for conditioning. I enjoy collecting comic books, and you can't get me away from the television if there is a football game on. Especially if the Pittsburgh Steelers are playing.
