In general, the people we interviewed who were familiar with the school or worked in the community, had postive views of the students. In particular, they said that they were "decent", "intellegent" , "studious", "respectful", "assertive", "sharp", and "expressed themselves well." The community felt that they must be important because the President believed them worthy of a visit.

However, not everyone was so favorable in their reviews. One person stated that the students at Morse High School were stand -offish and formed their own cliques. Ex: Football players only hung with other football players, cheerleaders, etc.. This person also stated that there was a territorial issue when the percentage of Filipinos increased at Morse. Another interviewee, who was not very familiar with the schools , or its students states that there were gang problems. Another says that the students were cocky, selfish and materialistic. She feels that they behave this way to mask their true feelings of fear and insecurity.

There really was no distinction made between the two schools by the respondents. For the most part the students at both schools were perceived as being positive. We feel that the community and teachers should be proud of their students and school; the problems that were mentioned are common for schools of any location.
