Encanto Park

David Carmichael, Karen Heltzel, Laura Gaulin

This is a park that is on the corner of Imperial Ave and a residential area. It is approximately four acres in area with a long rectangular shape. It was scarcely populated with only a few children at play. There were many old trees, natural shrubbery, and a bridge at each end of the park. A large drainage ditch runs parallel to Imperial Ave which is a very busy street. The park was divided into an area with a large sand lot and four pieces of brightly colored play equipment and an area that was grassy. The park was free of graffiti with well contained trash receptacles. There are two picnic tables and one bench on the grassy area.
