This gated apartment complex was spreckled with a numerous variety of trees and telephone poles. Located on the corner of 65th and Akins, this peach and turquise building is across the trolley tracks from covenience stores, an auto shop, and the Helping Hand Church. Several children escaped the heat by staying on the balconies that surrounded the building. The streets bordering the complex were busy with cars spewing exhaust fumes. To the east of the building was a vacant lot with a few pieces of trash. A small high voltage electrical building could also be found on the vacant lot. A picture of Jesus peeked out from a window adjacent to the lot along with crime watch prevention stickers.
