Background

I was born here in San Diego and grew up in the Del Cerro area north of SDSU. I have an older brother and sister, and a 2-year old niece. While attending Lewis Jr High, I began working as a private tutor for students ranging from 7 to 15 years. I tutored a variety of subjects throughout high school. Once in college, I began working a s a teacher aide, mainly in primary elementary school grades. i have also worked in the hotel and restaurant business.

Other Interesting Things

I am an avid reader, and enjoy painting, music, and outdoor activities, such as backpacking and swimming. I am also very interested in environmental isssues, as well as ecological research.
