Descriptive Essay

On June 23, 1996 the Biological Science class went on a camping trip to Mount Laguna. When we left I felt really excited because I would have a chance to be in the great outdoors. On the way to the campgrounds I felt pretty dizzy because of the elevation. We were at 6,000 feet and there were a lot of turns, but when we arrived all that went away.

As soon as we got there we got everything off the bus and started putting up our tent. After the tent was up we had hotdogs and chips for lunch which were really good. After that we went on a very difficult hike that was going down a mountain, many people almost fell but there were other people who helped them. When we went back to the campsite Mr. Flores realized that we had taken the wrong and difficult trail and Ms. Paz took the short and easy trail. I felt really mad because the rocks where loose and someone could've fallen and gotten hurt. I was the first one to arrive at the campsite so I got a brownie from Ms. Watts.

The next day, Friday, we took another hike which was easier and shorter and I got back in fifth place. I was so tired that I went to sleep for three hours. When I woke up I just ate some really good hamburgers for dinner. On Saturday we had a volleyball game and then a softball game and a balloon toss in which me and Hector tied for first place with Yoni and Marcel. As a prize we got a pack of Starburst. On Sunday we woke like around 7:00 a.m. and took our tents down and packed all of our stuff and we didn't even have time to eat our breakfast.
