Hawaiian Vacation

It's the first day of your Hawaiian vacation, and you can't believe you're actually here. How your parents let you go to Hawaii for two weeks with just your best friend Troy you will never know, but you're not complaining ! You can hardly wait to hit the water, the volcanoes, the hiking trails, and the helicopter tour. First, though, you decide that a good breakfast would be a smart way to start everything off. After throwing on your bathing suit and some sunscreen, you head out from your hotel toward a cool little cafe down on the beach.

After a huge meal of typical Hawaiian fruit and yams, as well as plenty of toast and coffee, you and Troy stagger out toward the water. He suggests you wait a while before getting wet, so you walk down the beach looking for pretty seashells and checking out the waves.

"Hey," Troy shouts, "look what I found !." He holds up a wrinkly, yellowish piece of what seems to be heavy paper. Upon closer inspection, you figure out that it's a document of some kind, but a lot of the writing is faded and unreadable. Sitting down on the sand, you spread it out between you, and spend the next hour trying to decipher its meaning. After much discussion, you both come to the same conclusion. "A list of clues to where someone left a ton of stuff, like
TREASURE !" you both exclaim at the same time.
