Topic:

Students will research one of four Native Californian tribes. They will pick one of four areas to research: The region, natural, human resources, or modes of travel. They will then join together as a group and put the information together in book form, using hyperstudio and/or on the web. This information will be presented to the class and video taped as an oral presentation. After the presentations, students will be expected to be able to compare and contrast two tribes from different regions and explain why those similarities or differences exist.
