Step 1a

Let's start with a relatively broad search. Single-click in the "Selection Criteria" box below and type in search term "currents."

Step 1b

Click on the "Submit Advanced Query" button.

Step 2a

Let's try to narrow our search by searching for a more specific term and ranking the order of the results. Single-click in the "Selection Criteria" box below and type in search term "ocean currents." Be sure to type the terms inside quotation marks.

Step 2b

We'll rank all results that pertain to California ocean currents to be listed first. Single-click in the "Results Ranking Criteria" box below and type in the word "California."

Step 2c

Click on the "Submit Advanced Query" button.
