Let's do a quick image search for an image of the California coastline.

Step 1a

Single-click in the "Selection Criteria" box below and type in "image:coastline." Do not include quotation marks.

Selection Criteria: Please use Advanced Syntax (AND, OR, NOT, NEAR).

Step 1b

Single-click in the "Results Ranking Criteria" box below and type in "California."

Results Ranking Criteria: Documents containing these words will be listed first.

 

Step 1c

Click on the "Submit Advanced Query" button.
