Adding Textures and Backgrounds

Some suggestions when using textures...

• It is difficult to read text on complex backgrounds. Use backgrounds on pages with little text or use larger text.
• Complex patterns are distracting to text and images, subtle patterns are better.
• If you create your own image to be tiled as a background, make sure that the edges line up so the image flows smoothly from one tile to the next.
• Keep background images as small as possible to allow your pages to be displayed faster.
