There are many species of whales that inhabit the oceans of the world. Follow these steps to learn about several different kinds.

    1. Which whale has the largest body size? Smallest?



    2. What do gray whales and humpback whales have in common?



    3. Which whales are toothed?



    4. Which whale was most recently removed from the endangered species list?



  5. Sketch a picture of your favorite whale. Label its tail fluke, flippers, blowhole, and eyes.



















  6. If you have time, take the whale quiz or find out how to adopt a killer whale.
